Solar Water Pump Technician.

We specialize in solar PV systems, solar water heaters, and solar water pumping solutions for irrigation, livestock, and domestic use.

We are currently hiring an experienced and motivated Solar Water Pump Technician to join our technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission AC and DC solar water pumps (submersible and surface pumps).
• Conduct site assessments to determine pump size, head, and panel requirements.
• Diagnose faults, repair or replace components, and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Configure pump controllers and ensure efficient integration with solar arrays.
• Provide technical advice and system training to clients.
• Prepare installation reports and maintain accurate service records.
• Ensure all installations adhere to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with solar-powered water pumping systems.
• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Water Engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of pump sizing, solar panel wiring, and controller setup.
• Familiar with brands such as Lorentz, Shakti, Grundfos, LORENTZ PS2/CS2 systems, or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field assignments.
• EPRA certification or NITA accreditation is an added advantage.
• A valid driving license is a plus.
