Key Responsibilities.
- Install and maintain solar-powered water pumping systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair DC and AC solar pumps.
- Conduct water system assessments and sizing calculations.
- Wire and connect solar panels, controllers, and pumps.
- Monitor and optimize system performance.
- Maintain detailed installation and service records.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements.
3+ years experience with solar water pumps or related field, Certification in solar technology, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
Strong knowledge of:
- Solar pump controllers.
- Submersible and surface pumps.
- Solar PV systems.
- Water storage and distribution systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical faults.
- EPRA certification (preferred).
